What Will Tomorrow Bring?

Welcome to CedarView Ranch

Breeding Registered Texas Longhorns

Est. 2001

At CedarView Ranch, we are committed to breed and offer the best quality Registered Texas Longhorns for you and your program. We use top bulls in the breed, mating to females who are consistent producers. While we breed for horn, we also focus on the total package to include confirmation, color, size, milking, disposition and other longhorn attributes.

Our plan is to continue to strategically stack pedigrees with other promising outcross bulls and continue increasing horn growth. This well-thought-out breeding plan will result in exceptional offspring that are consistent and predictable.

We utilize Embryo Transfer (ET), Artificial Insemination (AI), and exceptional herd sires for natural breeding. As you view our site, you will see a diverse herd out of some of the most superior stock in the longhorn breed.

Our current Herd Sires are CV Big Brutus (Jammin Tex x CV Rim Rocks Sweetie Pie), HIL5 Midnight Safari (JH Rural Safari Son x WS Midnight) and RJF Lone Star Tuff (Cowboy Tuff Chex x Awesome Trixie). These Herd Sires are going to take our next several calf crops to the next level showing more horn, color, size and confirmation. We have some outstanding and exciting future herd sires that will be working their way into the rotation (see Sire Prospect page).

Most of our stock are in the 70" to 80"+ TTT range and have many 80", 90", and even 100" TTT longhorns in their pedigrees. As we continue to stack pedigrees, we anticipate our entire herd being made up of 80", 90" and a few 100" TTT longhorns roaming the pastures of CedarView Ranch.

Wisdom says, "You shall reap what you sow," and we believe we have been planting the right seeds to produce exceptional longhorns.

Our family along with Chris Harrison (Ranch Manager) run and maintain CedarView Ranch. We are committed to breeding and selling the highest quality Registered Texas Longhorns.

Give us a call or come by and let us share our passion for longhorns with you.
